Russell Buck Highton - Seek Truth

Wrightington Hospital
Hall Lane
Appleby Bridge
Wigan
WN6 9EP

This is the hospital which neglected my father after
a simple knee operation the doctor never went to
see him on the ward and the untrained nurses
never spotted 12 different symptoms of DVT Pulmonary Embolism. They also gave a wrong diagnosis of a chest infection and when he died they moved his dead body to another hospital.

The doctor and nurses have 35 breaches of duty and negligence. Why would a patient be in the recovery room for two days when its normally two hours. Then keep it a secret from the family and say it was a chest infection which was the wrong diagnosis.

You choose your hospital with caution. However, choosing this hospital will be taking a risk with your life as they don't even have the facilities to deal with a DVT-PE.

They also have the highest death rate in the United Kingdom due to their failures and incompetence.

Hospital death rates worst in North West

"Death rates in Wigan's hospitals are the worst in the North West Latest figures reveal the standardised mortality rate for Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh (WWL) NHS Trust in 2007 was 124, equating to more than 3,000 deaths in hospital. That makes the Trust the worst performing in the region and one of the worst in the country."
